NEW LOGO
The Bayou Regional logo was originally designed by Scott Marshal back in 2006, when the first Bayou Regional planning committee came together. We love our alligator in his Mardi Gras hat and wanted to keep as many of the original elements as we could while adding a more current twist.

TEAM MEALS:
The order form for team meals is published on the Bayou Team Portal. Be sure to get your orders in by the deadline MARCH 15, 2023
PARADE SCHEDULE:
The annual Bayou Regional robot parade will begin prior to opening ceremonies on Friday. While teams are no required to be in the parade, we encourage you to join in and decorate your "floats" (carts) New Orleans style to enter into the best dressed contest!
The Bayou Regional Second Line will happen again this year on Saturday morning with our favorite Brass Band, KINFOLK! Come on down out of the stands and join in to show your steps! Not familiar with this New Orleans tradition? Click on the graphic in the Parade Section of the Bayou Team Portal!
PUBLIC AGENDA:
The Bayou public agenda can now be found on both the Events page and the Bayou Team Portal. Please note that social events and parades are not included in this version. Feel free to share it with your schools, parents, and anyone you'd like to invite to the event!
As of this post, we are not yet certain that we'll have a team social due to limited funding for the event. If you have a lead on a sponsor that you think might want to help with this cost, please email your RD, Carolyn Arthurs carthurs@firstinspires.org.
